Garden design services for the Sussex area and the South East
At my garden design studio based in the heart of Sussex, I use both hand drawing and computer design depending on your needs and the stage of the design process.
I also offer specific garden design services for those who may not need the whole package. From consultancy advice through to planting design for example.
My design philosophy focuses on simple refined lines and balanced structure and cover a wide range of styles.
I will be on-hand from the initial concept design through to the landscaping phase to create a garden that will compliment your home and that you can enjoy for years to come.
DESIGN PROCESS
Initial consultation
Let’s take a walk around your garden so I can understand what you would like to achieve. This first meeting is very much about getting to know each other. It will allow me to get a feel of your garden and to understand your requirements and aspirations.
Site survey and analysis
I carry out a survey of your garden and a site analysis to understand the existing space. If it’s a small garden we normally carry this out ourselves. For a larger garden an independent company may be required.
Concept design
An initial design is created. This will include sketch plans, 3D images and a plan. A design presentation meeting is arranged. We meet to discuss the proposal and make any necessary adjustments.
Detailed design
I create a final plan and detail hard and soft landscaping elements. Construction and detailed drawings will also be provided if necessary.
Planting
I source all the plants and supervise the planting.
