Garden Design project in East-Grinstead, West Sussex

The initial brief for this garden design project in East Grinstead was to redesign the large borders along the drive leading to the house.
Entrance beds and front gardens are important, you can enjoy them every day while going in and out. It is also the space your visitors will first see and appreciate.

The existing planting had too many contrasts with lots of small different groups of plants. We created a better unity throughout the beds by repeating groups of similar species of perennials. This creates a better impact and looks more balanced. The shrubs used create a permanent structure during winter.

The new entrance beds provide all year-round interest, especially from late Spring to mid-Autumn.
